A 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL once registered to former Pink Floyd singer and guitarist Roger Waters is available for sale at Barrett-Jackson’s Palm Beach auction.
Waters co-founded the progressive rock bank Pink Floyd in 1965 and in the ensuing decades provided vocals and guitars for the English group. He wrote and co-wrote the Pink Floyd albums The Piper At the Gates of Dawn, The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall. Waters has had a successful solo career since leaving the group in 1985.
Under the hood of the car is a fuel-injected 2.8-liter inline-6 engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The car’s air-conditioner condenser was refurbished and the water pump, ignition coil and distributor have been replaced.
The Light Ivory (DB670) roadster comes with a matching removable and a brown soft top. The car features refurbished brown leather bucket seats with matching door panels and carpeting. Its wheels have chrome covers with body-colored centers wrapped in 14-inch Michelin Rainforce MX4 whitewall tires.
God help the person that bought that piece of crap just because maybe a not so famous person owned it.
Shame on Barrett
What do you know about this car that the rest of us don’t?
Not so famous?? 😂 Only in your square dancing mind😎🎶
Anti Semite!!
Jew hater!
Shame on Barrett-Jackson! The owner of this car is a well known anti-semite. Whose cars will they be selling next, Farrakan’s?
Roger Waters is an artist, profit and genius and not anti semite. His views on Palestine and Israel are genuine and not anti Jew.
I recommend seeing this artist live in his current tour. You will be amazed before you are 1/2 way through.
