“This 1966 Pontiac GTO wears its original color, Montero Red, and white accent striping,” AutoHunter notes in the listing. “At the front, there are stacked headlights, a two-section grille, and a hood scoop with dual openings. A power-operated white fabric roof covers the passenger compartment.”

The front vinyl bucket seats, rear bench seat, carpeting and door panels are finished in black. A woodgrain dash houses a working AM radio, climate control, and gauges.

Under the hood is a 389ci V8 engine has three 2-barrell carburetors with chrome open-element air cleaners. The engine is paired with a column-shifted automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.

This GTO rides on Rally 1 wheels with center caps and trim rings wrapped in Guardsman narrow-whitewall radial tires.

This Pontiac GTO’s auction ends on March 7, 2022, at 12:20 p.m. MST, and the selling dealer charges an $85 documentation fee in addition to the sale price of the vehicle.

The sale includes a clear South Carolina title, Protect-O-Plate, and an owner’s manual.
