Comedian and actor Larry The Cable Guy is selling his 1967 Ford Mustang fastback at the upcoming GAA Classic Cars auction. The Mustang was purchased by Larry as a Valentine’s Day gift for his wife, Cara Whitney, and the pony car is finished in gray with black stripes.
Larry The Cable Guy is a stand-up comedian and actor that has appeared numerous movies, most notably the Cars franchise.
The black interior has vinyl front bucket seats that are split by a silver center console that houses the automatic transmission shifter. Amenities include upgraded air conditioning, a retro-style Bluetooth stereo with an amplifier and woofer, and a woodgrain 3-spoke Ford Mustang steering wheel.
Under the hood is a rebuilt 302cid V8 with a Holley 4-barrel carburetor on top of a Weiand aluminum intake and the exhaust flows through headers to stainless-steel dual exhaust. The engine was installed on September 21, 2018 and has a factory-rated 350 pounds-feet-of-torque.
A new and certified electronic overdrive 4-speed automatic transmission was installed in August 2018. The suspension features rack and pinion steering, and front and rear disc brakes. It rides on black spoke wheels wrapped in low-profile tires.
This Mustang is scheduled to cross the auction block February 26.
