Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1988 Nissan Hardbody featured on the cover of MiniTruckin’ magazine.

“When this truck was new in 1988, it was treated to a host of custom mini truck modifications of the era,” AutoHunter notes in the listing. “Features include flame graphics on the red exterior, a custom gray and red interior, a hydraulic tilt bed, a chrome rear axle, a pinstriped frame and suspension, nitrous oxide, underhood neon, and underbody lighting.”

The custom interior has Hyundai GLS bucket seats upholstered in gray with red accents, red neon lighting and a chrome roll bar mounted in the rear of the cab.  It features diamond-stitched gray velour and red vinyl door panels, center console, and headliner.

Under the hood is a 4-cylinder engine with dual Mikuni side-draft carburetors and nitrous injection. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

It rides on chrome 15-inch KMC wheels wrapped in 195/50/15 Continental tires. The frame and front suspension components are finished in matte black with accent pinstripes.

This Nissan’s auction ends on February 10, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. MST. The sale includes a clear title and the Fall 1989 MiniTruckin’ magazine that the truck was featured in.
