AutoHunter Spotlight: 1968 Ford F-100

-

Up for auction on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a restored 1968 Ford F-100 long bed Styleside pickup with 61,778 miles on the odometer.

According to the seller, this pickup was originally purchased to be put to work on a Texas ranch and then used as a daily driver by its second owner.

It’s finished in what is believed to be Peacock Blue paint and is equipped with slatted-wood atop the bedside panels, a black bed liner, squared-off wheel well openings, and white pinstriping along the body sides.

The cab houses a white vinyl-upholstered bench seat, blue and white door panels, and a black dash pad. Interior amenities include an aftermarket JVC stereo mounted in the dash, heater and defroster, manually cranked window, vent windows, and an aftermarket foot-shaped gas pedal.

Under the hood is a 300cid inline-6 cylinder engine that replaced the original 240cid plant. It comes paired with a column-shifted 3-speed manual transmission.

This Ford F-100’s auction ends November 5 at 11:00 a.m. PDT.
