Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1965 Ford Mustang GT hardtop that was restored in 1997 and repainted in its factory Ragon Red.
“Configured with the GT Equipment Group, this Mustang has GT emblems, lower-body stripes, and grille-mounted foglights,” AutoHunter notes in the Mustang’s listing.
This Mustang is also equipped with “FORD” lettering on the hood, a black vinyl, top and dual exhaust finishers exiting the car below the rear bumpers.
The interior houses black front bucket seats with a rear bench seat, a 3-spoke steering wheel, manual windows and an aftermarket radio.
Under the hood sits a rebuilt A-code 289cid V8 engine with a 4-barrel carburetor linked to a 4-speed manual transmission.
The odometer, which the seller notes was not rolled back when the engine was rebuilt, shows 97,488 miles.
This Mustang GT’s auction ends September 29 at 12:20 p.m. PDT.
