Early this year, Bugatti said it had joined forces with IXO (Iconic Xtrem Objects) to design a pool table that matches the French luxury marque’s high-quality standards. The first such table is ready for delivery.
The table, finished with bright blue accents, is adorned with the EB logo along with an engraving detailing the table’s edition number of 1 of 30.
Before this table shipped to the US, where the first buyer is located, complementary accessories were developed to match the custom design. These items include a wall-mounted cue support that features a 13-inch, high-resolution touch screen where players can keep track of scores and control table and lamp operations, as well as carbon fiber pool cues with CNC-machined aluminum ends formed in the same design as the interior control buttons on the Bugatti Chiron and Divo.
“It is our pleasure to witness the first example of the Bugatti Pool Table completed by IXO,” Bugatti president Stephan Winkelmann is quoted in a news release. “Working with a manufacturing partner that matches the qualities and values of Bugatti with extremely high-end materials and unparalleled standards is great importance for us.”
To show off the table’s impressive design, IXO captured the table with a Bugatti Divo at the 19-year-old Ciudade da Cultura Gallicia in Santiago de Compestela, described by Bugatti as “an imposing structure of geometric and flowing forms designed by famous US architect Peter Eisenman.
“We started working on the project last year and we are delighted to have finished the very first piece,” IXO’s general manager Pedro Sanchez is quoted. “Having Bugatti’s stunning Divo accompany the Pool Table is a demonstration of their equal quality and intricate details.
“We poured our hearts into this first production and we’re sure that each of the 30 customers will enjoy the pool table as much as we relished producing it.”
Customers can commission customized Bugatti Pool Tables, choosing from a variety of carbon and leather colors to create their own piece of recreational art.
