Up for auction on AutoHunter, the online auction company driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1950 Ford F1 pickup that’s steel body remains largely original.

“The first-generation F-Series debuted in model year 1948 in the full-size pickup truck segment, with year-over-year changes occurring through 1952,” AutoHunter says in the truck’s listing. “For 1950, slight design changes were made to the sides of the bed and other aspects of the exterior.”

This 1950 F1 example was the recipient of a body-off restoration in which it received a fresh coat of Meadow Green paint and new wooden bed planks. Additionally, the chrome grille, handles, moldings and badging were refinished.

The interior houses a tan tweed reupholstered bench seat, replacement matching headliner, Meadow Green metal dash, and wing windows.

Under the hood is a 239cid flathead V8 that wears its original oil batch air cleaner and is connected to a column-shifted 3-speed manual transmission.

The odometer shows 1,000 miles, which reflects the mileage driven since the completion of the restoration. Chassis mileage is unknown.

This F1 pickup’s auction ends August 12 at 11:00 a.m. PDT.
