Rolls-Royce rolls out adventurous accessories for its Cullinan SUV

Modules designed to enhance your recreational lifestyle

Now that it offers a sport utility vehicle, Rolls-Royce also provides a way for its customers to enhance the use of their $327,750 (base price) vehicles.

Rolls-Royce isn’t saying that its SUV is incomplete for $327,750, but it simply is offering accessories “to ensure that, on arrival, clients are equipped with everything required for their adventure.”

“The first is the Recreation Module, a motorized drawer cassette designed to fit securely and invisibly into the luggage compartment floor of Cullinan,” Rolls-Royce reports.

“At the touch of a button, the Recreation Module slides open to reveal equipment, accessories and paraphernalia personally selected by the motor car’s commissioning client, each item ensconced in its own individually tailored container. The Recreation Module can be trimmed to match or contrast with the car’s interior and exterior colorway according to the commissioning client’s preference.

“Furthermore, the entire assembly can be removed and stored separately, allowing customers to create Recreation Modules for specific hobbies and applications, from fly fishing, rock climbing, snowboarding or parascending (parasailing) to kite-boarding or base-jumping.

“For example, a Cullinan client could devise three individual Recreation Modules for shooting, skiing and photography equipment, then select and install the appropriate unit prior to departure.”

Rolls-Royce notes that while the module adds to the vehicle’s versatility, it doesn’t compromise the SUV’s loading floor-length or its cargo capacity.

The Viewing Suite

If your destination is, say, a grandchild’s Saturday soccer game and you want to watch in style, you can equip your Cullinan with the Viewing Suite, a pair of rear-facing seats separated by a retractable cocktail table.

“The Viewing Suite provides the perfect place in which to relax and reflect on the day’s events,” Rolls suggests. “Truly the best seat in the house.

Rolls-Royce also offers a Hosting Service, “a range of accoutrements to create the perfect beverage while enjoying the world’s most breathtaking vistas. Suited to hosting up to eight adults, the Hosting Service comes complete with glassware and the utensils for creating a fresh cocktail or a classic gin and tonic for passengers. Elegant highball glasses are adorned with discreet Rolls-Royce monograms whilst wooden chopping boards are made of the highest quality American walnut. Additionally, space is provisioned for a light snack service.”

The other available module is the Urban Photography Recreation Module, created with photographer Mark Riccioni who the automaker commissioned in 2019 to produce a series of images on the automotive subcultures of Los Angeles.

The new photography module includes a DJI Mavic Mini drone, 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro and 16-inch Apple MacBook Pro for image capture and editing on location, Sennheiser PXC550 MkII noise-canceling headphones, Persol PO3225-S sunglasses and clothing from streetwear brand Supreme.

Pricing for the accessories was not included in the news release, but for more information, visit the Rolls-Royce Boutique website.

  1. It’d be interesting to see how many of these vehicles Rolls Royce manages to sell. I can’t see the average Rolls customer as being the “outdoorsy” type. But then I don’t often run in those social circles either.

  2. I’m still a diehard Cadillac/Lincoln fan (you can take the boy outa Michigan but you can’t take Michigan outa the boy) and don’t run in those social circles either…however, if you live just about anywhere in Los Angeles, you’re bound to see a few Cullinan SUV’s…. especially parked curb side on Montana Ave in Santa Monica or driving down PCH headed for Malibu. Anywhere the successful tec crowd travels with their kids. My first “up close” view of a Cullinan was at The Grove Shopping Center in the Fairfax District on display as you walked in from the parking garage past the concierge desk and not running the streets of Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills like one might have expected…although you can see a few of them parked via valet parking/curb side outside any of the well know stores along Rodeo. I’m going to guess there are more of them leased than actually purchased outright. Its Los Angeles after all. Filled with posers. Palm Beach probably has more of them outright owned.
