Putnam Leasing offers the ultimate Porsche trio package

Putnam Leasing, a luxury car leasing firm in the US known for helping people get behind the wheel of their dream cars, announces a new program that’ll let you lease a trio of collectible Porsches for a small down payment of $422,000 and a minuscule $19,994 per month.

“Putnam Leasing curated three special Porsches from the past and present that deliver iconic examples from every period of the renowned Stuttgart automaker’s amazing 90-year history,” the company announced in its news release.

“While Putnam Leasing specializes in working with the best collectors to design custom leasing programs for acquiring collectible and new exotics alike, the Porsche brand is always an important name for our clients,” commented Putnam Leasing chief executive Steven Posner.

“In terms of desirability, value and collectability, few automakers can aspire to what Porsche has achieved at the auctions and beyond. Our collectors adore the marque, and it’s no secret why.

“Porsche has created so many amazing cars over the years. Given that fact, Putnam Leasing decided to create a bespoke lease aimed at delivering our favorite examples of their collector cars through the decades to our clients,” Posner continued.

The trio consists of a “vintage 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster, classic air-cooled 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera S and indomitable 2015 Porsche 918 from the modern era.”

Let’s take a closer look at each car:

A vintage icon in the Porsche collection, the 1958 356 Speedster was originally created by Ferdinand Porsche’s son and was “celebrated for its lightweight and nimble handling,” said Putnam Leasing.

It’s equipped with a 1.6-liter flat-4 engine factory rated at 60 horsepower with a top speed of 124 miles per hour.

Estimated current market: $335,000 | Down payment: $67,000 | 60-month lease

The 911 is arguably one of the most sought-after cars from collectors around the world.

“An incredibly rare car even at the time of release with only limited quantities provided to dealerships for sale, the 1973 911s includes a 2,341 cc (2.341 L; 142.9 cu in) engine that is universally known as the ‘2.4L’ engine,” the leasing company explained.

This sports car can reach speeds of 137 miles per hour.

Estimated current market: $900,000 | Down payment: $180,000 | 60-month lease

2015 Porsche 918 Spyder (Estimated monthly payment: $7,925 + tax)

The Porsche 918 Spyder, the fastest Porsche in the world, is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 that’s factory rated at 608 horsepower and can go from 0-60 miles per hour in just 2.2 seconds.

Making it even more legendary, the Spyder once broke the 7-minute speed barrier at Nurburgring in just 6 minutes and 57 seconds.

  1. Are there really people with this much money? Of course there are.
Why don’t they pay back and help society, rather than stroke and gloat?
Exactly what kind of person can be aware of starving children, and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to lease- not own- an automobile?
    Sad.
