Video of the Day: The story of MPC

Model Products Corporation and its work producing promotional and glue-together model car kits

-

Long before they were old enough to drive, millions of young Americans bought and assembled plastic model cars produced by companies such as AMT, Revell and MPC, which also was known for its scale-model “promotional” cars that dealerships gave to customers.

The Video of the Day by MaxModels shares the story of MPC.

In the audio, the presenter also suggests that those who want even more information should read “A Brief History of the Model Products Corporation” on the MotorCities.org website.

The YouTube presentation of the video also offers links to an interview with MPC co-founder George Toteff and to another feature story on the Promotex website.
